DELIVERY & ORDERING
All silver-plated cutlery usually takes six to eight weeks. The anticipated delivery date to the customer will be advised in the letter of order acknowledgement which is automatically sent to every customer on receipt of their order. If a customer has a more urgent requirement they can contact our Sales Office on 0114 2720885 and we will do our utmost to oblige if at all possible.
All orders for hallmarked sterling silver take a minimum of ten to twelve weeks from receipt of order and the anticipated delivery date to the customer will be advised in the letter of order acknowledgement which is automatically sent to every customer on receipt of their order. We do not hold any stocks of hallmarked sterling silver but would do our absolute utmost to accommodate the customers’ requirements.
Please note that many countries have import restrictions on certain products or materials. Customers are responsible for checking with the local customs authorities before placing an order for international delivery.
Inkerman Silver cannot offer any assistance in this process.
Inkerman Silver products are sold in £ pounds sterling on a delivery duty unpaid basis. The recipient may have to pay import duty or a formal customs entry fee prior to or on delivery. Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local legislation and customers are advised to check these details before placing an order.
Prices shown on this website are current retail prices and therefore are inclusive of VAT at 20%, but exclude the cost of delivery and insurance, which will be added to your order at checkout.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Any bespoke cutlery items or cabinets that are personalised badging or engraving are non-returnable but if there is a manufacturing fault we are happy to replace it.
If you need to return any products, please do so within 7 calendar days of receipt and we will either replace the product or refund your payment. Returned products must be in their original packaging and in an unused condition. Products will not be refunded without the original receipt of proof of purchase.If you have ordered by telephone or internet, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any home delivery items. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specifications (all cutlery is made to order, Inkerman’s have the discretion to refuse a return and refund). All sterling silver is manufactured to order and we do not offer a refund or accept cancellations once the order has been placed unless there is a manufacturing fault. You will pay the return postage on the unsuitable product and postage & packaging if any replacement products are sent. This does not affect your statutory rights.
